TERMS AND CONDITION
Unless otherwise agreed in writing all tours are sold based on the following terms and conditions of the purchaser and no agent or representative has authority to omit part of, or all of these conditions.
Deposit payments
All bookings are tentative until deposit or full payments have been received by Jurien Bay Charter ‘n Dive. A 50% deposit is required on time of booking to confirm your reservation; full payment is required 48 hours before departure. Tentative bookings will be held for 7 days in which thereafter unless deposit or full payment is made the tentative booking will be cancelled.
Final payments
Final payment is to be paid 48 hours before departure, and no later than the day before departure. Failing to make final payment will result in cancellation of the reservation and your deposit will be forfeited.
Cancellation Policy - Private Boat or Whole Boat Bookings
All tours require a minimum of 14 days notice of cancellation to guarantee refund of payment in full. If a cancellation for a private charter is made within 7 – 14 days of the charter date, the deposit or full payment is refunded in full only if Jurien Charter ‘n Dive can rebook the boat to another customer. Should Jurien Bay Charter ‘n Dive has not been able to rebook the boat, the customer is only entitled to a 50% refund of the total charter amount.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the charter date forfeit the full amount of the charter cost. Jurien Bay Charter ’n Dive will make every effort to rebook the vessel and if successful, payments and deposits will be returned to you in full.
Cancellation Policy - Individual and Group Bookings
It is recommended that cancellations for charters booked be made within the following time frames to ensure a refund. All cancellations incur a 25% cancellation fee. Individual or small group bookings require a 48-hour cancellation notice to ensure a refund, larger group bookings such as 6 or more require 3 days notice. We have a strict NO SHOW, NO REFUND POLICY if decided to not turn up on the day of departure we will not refund your deposit or full payment.
Jurien Bay Charter ’n Dive may cancel the days charter at anytime due to weather conditions being unsuitable for the days activities or due to minimum numbers of paying customers not being met. If in the event of cancellation by Jurien Bay Charter ‘n Dive due to weather conditions or minimum numbers not being met, we will reschedule your booking or a full refund maybe be applied to you.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are only valid when fully paid by the purchaser or distributor. Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash. Jurien Bay Charter ‘n Dive are flexible with the validity date and we will honour the price of the tour if there has been a price increase on tours. Please note that if it is an individual gift voucher and if we need a minimum number or weather conditions disrupt departure, we may need several attempts to enable your trip.
Liability Conditions
Jurien Bay Charter ‘n Dive provide adventure charters that involve a degree of physical activity and adventure tours. The Sea Lion Tour requires an ability to swim at any level; we recommend you let staff know your swimming ability before departure date. If in the circumstance that you are not a confident swimmer please let the staff know so that Jurien Bay Charter ‘n Dive can accommodate your needs. We can provide extra staff, life jackets, VU Boards and noodles to make your experience safe and very memorable. Scuba Dive Charters we require to site your qualifications and if in the event that you have not dived recently or do not feel confident please inform our staff. Fishing Charters again is its best to inform the staff on your swimming ability and if you suffer seasickness inform the staff prior departure.
Jurien Bay Charter ‘n Dive reserves the right to make decisions based on the safety of all customers. However, it is necessary for you to read and fully understand our ‘Disclaimer Exclusion of Liability, Release and Assumption of Risk Form”.
Jurien Bay Charter ‘n Dive do not take responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen equipment, we recommend passengers take out adequate travel insurance
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the cabin or toilet on our vessel; areas on the outside deck will be made available for guests to smoke. Respect and care for the environment and other guests is essential.
Alcohol Policy
Jurien Bay Charter ‘n Dive permits passengers to bring their own alcohol on board. Jurien Bay Charters ‘n Dive adheres to the responsible service of alcohol and therefore reserves the right to refuse service to and the removal of personal alcohol to any passenger at anytime during the charter. Any inappropriate or abusive behaviour while under the influence of alcohol or drugs or indeed at any time will give Jurien Bay Charter ‘n Dive and its crew the right to organise the removal from the charters any such passengers/passengers.
Clothing and Equipment
Jurien Bay Charter ‘n Dive recommends the correct clothing for the tour. Slip, Slop, Slap in warm weather and in the winter months jumpers/jackets for wet weather is required. Wetsuits are recommended at all times except Fishing Charters. We have a large range of fishing equipment; passengers are welcome to bring your own fishing equipment.
